Câmara de Carrapateira derruba veto da prefeita à Lei de Diretrizes Orçamentárias

Neste sábado, 19 de agosto, a Câmara de Carrapateira rejeitou por maioria absoluta os vetos do Poder Executivo as Emendas Aditivas de nº 002/2017, 003/2017 e 004/2017 a Lei de Diretrizes Orçamentárias para Exercício 2018. Os vereadores aprovaram por maioria absoluta o parecer da Comissão de Legislação e Justiça que rejeitou os vetos por entender a constitucionalidade dos artigos.

Segundo os vereadores, se os vetos não fossem rejeitados, seria um desrespeito à autonomia do Poder Legislativo. Importante ressaltar que a atual gestão da Câmara, presidida por Moacir Batista e com o apoio da maioria dos vereadores, vem implementando uma série de medidas administrativas, estratégicas e culturais para modernizar a Câmara, qualificar seus serviços e aproximar o Legislativo da população.

O Presidente Moacir Batista afirmou que, apesar de só precisar votar em situações de empate, neste caso votaria contra o veto da Prefeita, acompanhando a maioria.
